Lukuvuosimaksu koskee sinua, jos olet EU-/ETA-alueen ulkopuolelta ja

• olet muuttamassa Suomeen opiskelutarkoituksessa
• sinulla on opiskelun perusteella myönnetty oleskelulupa (A tai B)
• ensimmäinen oleskelulupasi on myönnetty opiskelun perusteella
• olet saanut oleskelulupasi perheenkokoajan opiskelun perusteella

Lukuvuosimaksu ei koske sinua, jos

• olet EU/ETA-maan, Islannin, Liechtensteinin, Norjan tai Sveitsin kansalainen
• sinulla on pysyvä oleskelulupa (P)
• sinulla on jatkuva oleskelulupa muun kuin opiskelun perusteella
• saat kansainvälistä tai tilapäistä suojelua
• opiskelet työvoimakoulutuksessa
• opiskelet TUVA-koulutuksessa (Tutkintoon valmentava koulutus)
• olet oppisopimusopiskelija ja sinulla on työntekijän oleskelulupa

Lukuvuosimaksun määrä

Koulutuksen järjestäjä päättää lukuvuosimaksun suuruudesta. Turun AKK:n koulutusten voimassa olevat lukuvuosimaksut näet koulutusten tiedoista nettisivuilla.

Koulutuksen lopullinen hinta määräytyy koulutuksen keston mukaan. Koulutuksen kestosta sovitaan henkilökohtaisessa osaamisen kehittämissuunnitelmassa (HOKS).

Lukuvuosimaksujen hinnat tarkistetaan vuosittain.

Lukuvuosimaksun maksaminen

Jos asut jo Suomessa, sinun täytyy maksaa lukuvuosimaksu ennen koulutuksen aloittamista. Koulutukseen ja opetukseen ei voi osallistua, jos lukuvuosimaksua ei ole maksettu.

Jos et vielä asu Suomessa, sinun täytyy maksaa lukuvuosimaksu ennen oleskeluluvan hakemista.

Ensimmäisen vuoden lukuvuosimaksu maksetaan yhdessä erässä ennen koulutuksen aloittamista. Jos koulutus kestää yli vuoden, seuraavan vuoden maksu laskutetaan ennen toisen opiskeluvuoden alkamista. Saat meiltä tarkemmat maksuohjeet opiskelijavalinnan yhteydessä.

Mitä lukuvuosimaksu sisältää?

Lukuvuosimaksun maksettuasi sinulla on oikeus osallistua opetukseen. Lisäksi sinulla on oikeus opiskeluhuollon palveluihin ja oppimisen tukeen voimassa olevan lainsäädännön mukaisesti.

Lukuvuosimaksu ei lähtökohtaisesti sisällä asumista, ruokailua, oppimateriaaleja, työvälineitä tai muita tarvikkeita. Et ole myöskään oikeutettu oppisopimuskoulutuksen opintososiaalisiin etuuksiin.

Huomioitavaa

Turun AKK pyrkii pitämään tällä sivulla esitetyt tiedot mahdollisimman ajantasaisina. Lukuvuosimaksuihin ja opiskelijoiden maksuvelvollisuuteen liittyvä sääntely perustuu kuitenkin voimassa olevaan lainsäädäntöön sekä viranomaislinjauksiin.

Annual Tuition Fees for Students from Outside the EU/EEA as of 1 August 2026

If you start your studies after 1 August 2026 and you are a citizen of a non‑EU/EEA country, you may be required to pay a tuition fee.

As a rule, tuition fees in upper secondary vocational education apply to students from third countries who arrive in Finland or reside in Finland with a student residence permit. For individuals already living in Finland, the basis of the residence permit determines fee liability.

Student’s fee liability is determined based on documents provided by the applicant and residence permit information received from the Finnish Immigration Service.

Tuition fees apply to you if you are from outside the EU and EEA and

• you are moving to Finland to study
• your residence permit (A or B) has been granted on the basis of your studies
• your first residence permit was granted on the basis of your studies
• you have received your residence permit on the basis of a family member’s studies.

Fee liability continues until the student is granted a permanent residence permit.

Tuition fees do not apply to you if you

• are citizen of an EU or EEA country, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Switzerland
• hold a permanent residence permit in Finland (P)
• hold a continuous residence permit granted on a basis other than studies
• receive international or temporary protection
• are studying in labour market-funded training
• are studying in preparatory education for vocational training (TUVA)
• are an apprenticeship student and hold a residence permit for employment

Annual tuition fees for vocational education

The education provider determines the amount of the tuition fee. Tuition fees for Turun AKK’s programs can be found in the education program description on the website.

The final cost of the program is determined based on its duration. The duration of the program is agreed upon in the personal competence development plan (HOKS).

Tuition fees are reviewed annually.

Payment of the tuition fee

If you are already living in Finland, the tuition fee must be paid before the studies begin. Participation in education and instruction is not possible if the tuition fee has not been paid.

If you are not yet residing in Finland, the tuition fee must be paid before applying for a residence permit.

The tuition fee for the first year is paid in a single installment before the start of the program. Students cannot participate in the program until they have paid the tuition fee. If the program lasts more than one year, the fee for the following year will be invoiced before the start of the second academic year. You will receive detailed payment instructions once you are admitted.

What does the tuition fee include?

Once you have paid the tuition fee, you are entitled to participate in the instruction. You are also entitled to student welfare services and learning support in accordance with Finnish legislation.

The tuition fee does not generally include housing, meals, study materials, or tools. You are also not entitled to the financial benefits provided for apprenticeship training.
