This education is for you who work in the field and want to improve your competence and get an official degree.
Education gives you competence and assurance to plan and implement cleaning services in different customer sites.
Next group starts: in fall 2025. Teaching (on-site training) takes place at Turun AKK (Artukaistentie 11-13, Turku).
Duration
The average duration of this education is one year. However the duration is individual. In the beginning of the education teacher will make you a personal plan to develop your skills.
Content
The scope of qualification is 150 Competence Point (= cp) is comprised of three compulsory units:
- Provision of customer-oriented cleaning and property services, 15 cp
- Maintenance cleaning services, 45 cp
- Basic cleaning services, 30 cp
Optional units of which you choose two (= 60 competence points, cp)
- Special purpose cleaning services, 30 cp
- Cleaning services for hotel and accommodation facilities, 30 cp
- Cleaning services for shopping centres and retail stores, 30 cp
- Cleaning services for educational institutions and day-care centres, 30 cp
- Cleaning services for swimming pool and spa facilities, 30 cp
- Work induction, 30 cp
- Waste management services, 30 cp
To take part in the education you must have a job from the field in Finland and live in Finland.
- Apprenticeship training (oppisopimus)
In apprenticeship training you must work min. 25 hours per week. You will get salary and study while working. Employer must provide a workplace trainer, who guides the student in the workplace. You will complete theoretical studies at Turun AKK. Read more about apprenticeship training.
