Further Vocational Qualification in Cleaning and Property Services, Site Facilities Operator

This education gives you competence and assurance to plan and implement cleaning services in different customer sites.

This education is for you, who already work in site facilities and use English to communicate at your work sites. Education gives you competence and assurance to plan and implement cleaning services in different customer sites.

For the apprenticeship you must have a job, where you work min. 25 hrs/week. To complete the qualification, you must have the opportunity to do versatile assignments at your workplace. Another requirement is that your employer has agreed to sign an apprenticeship training contract. At your work you are quided by a workplace trainer, e.g. your supervisor or colleague.

Most of the education is conducted at your workplace in daily assignments. Theoretical studies are at Turun AKK (Artukaistentie 11–13, 20240 Turku)

The scope of qualification is 150 Competence Point (= cp) is comprised of three compulsory units:

• Provision of customer-oriented cleaning and property services, 15 cp
• Maintenance cleaning services, 45 cp
• Basic cleaning services, 30 cp

Optional units of which you choose two (= 60 competence points, cp)

• Special purpose cleaning services, 30 cp
• Cleaning services for hotel and accommodation facilities, 30 cp
• Cleaning services for shopping centres and retail stores, 30 cp
• Cleaning services for educational institutions and day-care centres, 30 cp
• Cleaning services for swimming pool and spa facilities, 30 cp
• Work induction, 30 cp
• Working as a workplace instructor, 30 cp
• Waste management services, 30 cp

Apprenticeship
